i want to download ringtones into my i560 from nextel but when i want to download the ringtone it says polytony or something like that and it also says real tones
whats the different types of ringtones and whats the difference?

real tones are the real deal in a much smaller package. Poly ring tones are the old versions that are computer generated sounds to make it sound like the melody of a particular song. Most Phones these days can support either, although the real tones usually cost more and require more memory.
I don’t know about your specific phone, but there are some phones that only do polyphonic…which is just beeping notes. The real tones are more like what you’d hear on the radio. You may have to go to nextel’s website and look at the info for your phone so you can find out which one your phone is capable of. Good luck.
polyphonic means theres no words its just like instruments playing the tune to the song, im not sure what real tones are but im guessing it means the actual song with words. hope this helps!
Polyphonic are those crappy sounding electric piano ringtones, real tones are the ones you want, they should be in .wav format.
